Reflection: Let’s face it, traveling along this path of life without kids often comes with a heavy dose of inner work. But have you ever noticed that the moment you finally commit to doing that healing, your world suddenly shifts and everything gets incredibly uncomfortable? I have. You start setting healthier boundaries, prioritizing your peace, and really processing your grief, but instead of finding immediate serenity, things feel like they are falling apart. Certain friends start to drift away, the old habits you used to rely on no longer bring you comfort, and your daily life just feels off.
If this is happening to you, please hear me: it’s okay. You are not breaking down; you are breaking through. When we commit to healing, our entire lives have to adjust to the new space we're taking up. It’s entirely normal to feel freaked out when the ground beneath you starts to shake. But these cracks aren't a sign that you're failing - they’re life's way of making room for what’s next.
This is incredibly brave work. Let things shift. Let the old structures fall away. On the other side of this mess is a beautiful reality. - Caroline Bloss
