Reflection: I’m really hoping this quote hits you the way it hit me.
What if we actually tried this? What if we walked around with the assumption that things are meant to work out for us?
For so long, a lot of us have lived in the exact opposite headspace. We brace ourselves. We wait for the other shoe to drop because, let’s face it, we’ve been burned before. That skepticism we carry is just our memory though. We remember the times things went wrong, so we think predicting failure is a smart way to protect ourselves. But honestly, bracing for impact doesn't shield us from pain, it just keeps us too tense to enjoy the good stuff.
What if making this one internal shift changes absolutely everything?
When you decide today that the game is fixed for you, your brain naturally starts looking for evidence of this instead of looking for what’s missing in life. You begin to notice the small things like the perfect parking spot, a phone call from a friend you’ve been missing, or a delicious first bite. Slowly but surely, you start building a new track record that shows you that things can be good.
The best part? Living this way lets you stop trying to micro-manage the entire world. You don’t have to force, manipulate, or exhaust yourself trying to make every little piece fit. Instead, you get to step into a state of relaxed expectancy. You do your part, and then you take a deep breath and step back, trusting that the setup is already in motion. - Caroline Bloss

Self Care Tip: For 24 hours, assume the best. Because we’re so inclined to hunt for the negative stuff, write something on the top of your hand like the letter “R” for rigged to remind you. Let this reminder shift you right over to a new way of approaching the day.
