Reflection: To me, this is about the power of being the exception to the rule. We’re taught from the time we’re little girls that a woman’s life should follow a specific path: you grow up, find a partner, and fulfill your purpose by becoming a mother. When you don't follow this script, people tend to look at you like something went wrong - as if not having children is a gaping hole that needs to be filled. But I’ve come to realize that being a glitch in the system is exactly where my freedom lies. I’ve chosen to be whole on my own terms and I’ve created a life that is meaningful.
It takes real bravery to stop living for the approval of a system that wasn't built for you. When you dare to be happy outside of those traditional lines, you aren’t just rewriting your own story, you’re expanding what’s possible for every woman coming up behind you. You are living proof that a woman’s worth is something she defines and claims for herself. -Caroline Bloss

Self Care Tip: We all have those small, daily habits that aren't actually ours - they are just scripts we’ve been handed. It might be the way you apologize in emails, or the way you say "yes" to a social invite before even checking your energy levels. Pick one thing you do today out of pure habit or social expectation. Before you do it, pause and ask: "Who told me I had to do it this way?" Once you identify that prescribed behavior, do the opposite - or at least, do it differently.
