Reflection: It’s easy to glorify burnout, to act like being constantly exhausted somehow proves your commitment or care. But the truth is, when you're running on empty, you’re not helping anyone. You can’t show up fully for others when there’s nothing left in you. Impatience creeps in, details slip by, and your energy and attention are only half there. Taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury - it’s essential. Pausing, setting boundaries, and carving out time to recharge aren’t indulgences but are necessary for you to show up fully. Make refueling a priority and you’ll have more energy, focus, and compassion to offer the world.

Self-care tip:

Give yourself a 10 minute “nature bath” by immersing your senses in a tiny natural setting. Sit by a window with a small plant, listen to the subtle sounds of wind or birds, touch textures like leaves or smooth stones, and inhale deeply and be present with nature. This micro-dose of nature can reset your nervous system and recharge your mental energy.
