Reflection: When I walk through the forest, I see lessons about belonging and resilience. Nature reminds me that no two things are meant to be the same, yet all can live in harmony. I believe that even without children, I can still offer care and nurture in my own way. If I were a tree, maybe my branch wouldn’t bear pinecones, but it would still help form the canopy that protects new growth. That’s how I like to see myself when surrounded by my nieces and friends’ children. If we take a lesson from nature, we see that we all belong and are all needed. Each of us has a purpose; the important question is what we choose to do with this life- Adriana Rodriguez-Baptiste
