Reflection: Even though I don’t have kids, I still have a fierce nurturing side that demands expression. Because of this, I try to leave people better than I found them. A smile, a kind word, and truly listening can make someone’s day. If I can make the world even a little softer for those I meet, then I’ve lived a life that matters. And in these exchanges, I’m able to meet my need to nurture. Over the years, I’ve learned that giving love even to complete strangers is my way of mothering the world. - Caroline Bloss
